Seattle Spring Afternoon by Fresnatic on Flickr.Via Flickr:www.davidrironsjrphotography.com
Hi everyone! I know! I know! I know! It has been a while since I have been online! I apologize, as I have been extremely busy at work and now things are starting to lighten up! I have not been out shooting much either!
I did have the opportunity the other night to shoot so I went to one of my favorite spots in the city to get an earlier shot! I normally shoot this scene at sunset or after sunset, but did not really have a shot when the sun was still shining! This was a glorious early Spring evening and the clouds were racing around the sky making all sorts of great patterns and casting some great light!
This is three exposures (-2,0,+2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. The ghost tool really helped to eliminate the ghosting of the cars on the freeways here! I cropped and dodged and burned in Photoshop. I did process this with a little more of a “painterly” or “surreal” look as I just felt it looked right here! Hope you all like!
Thank you for your views, comments, faves and support. I will be busy catching up on your photostreams. Please do not be offended if I have not added you as a contact yet.
Please do not use my images on websites, or blogs such as Tumblr, Pintrest and the like with out my permission. All images are available for license and sale. Thank you.
